With active help from local residents, police detained the suspects and took them into custody.During a search, police recovered a country-made 7.65mm pistol and seven live cartridges from their possession. A scooter allegedly used by the accused was also seized.The arrested youths were identified as Suraj Kumhar, 24, and Sagar Kumar Ravani, 22, both residents of Dhanbad district. Police registered a case under the Arms Act and produced them in court, which remanded them in judicial custody. Further investigation is underway, the SP said.
