Ranchi: The Southwest Monsoon which arrived in Jharkhand on June 12, further advanced and reached the state capital on Monday.“Conditions are favourable for further advancement of the monsoon into the other parts of the state over the next few days,” scientist and director of Met office, Ranchi, PP Baburaj said.The Met office also predicted light to moderate rain and thunderstorms at isolated places over the state in the next few days and issued yellow alert for thunderstorms/lightning and gusty wind at isolated places.“There is no chance of heavy rain at least for the next two to three days,” he added.
