Bokaro: Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro student Aditya Mishra has emerged as the joint national topper in the CBSE Class 12 science after re-evaluation.“Aditya’s overall score rose from 99.20% to 99.60% after his Biology marks were revised from 96 to 99 following a CBSE re-checking process. Unhappy with his initial score declared on May 13, 2026, he applied for re-evaluation, which ultimately improved his result as a joint Science stream national topper,” the school said in a statement on Monday.Aditya secured 100 each in English core, Chemistry and Painting, and 99 in Physics. He also maintained A1 grades across all remaining subjects, taking his total to 498 out of 500.Principal A S Gangwar felicitated him with his father, Prajesh Chandra Mishra, at the school today.Aditya, son of SAIL’s Refractory Unit (SRU) chief general manager (finance) Prajesh Chandra Mishra and homemaker Sasmita, has set his sights on becoming a doctor. He credited his performance to disciplined study of around six hours daily, along with constant guidance from teachers and support from his family.In 10th, he scored 96.8%. Beyond academics, he is fond of football and kabaddi. He said, “Covid-19 pandemic proved to be a turning point in my academic journey, helping me rebuild discipline after initial struggles with online learning.”
