Jamshedpur: A dispute over buying groceries turned violent at Tamulia on Jamshedpur’s outskirts under Kapali outpost in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, when history-sheeter Shaheed Ansari alias Golden allegedly shot his friend Md Noor alias Kana Babu, 62, in the leg.Police said Golden, in his 40s, had warned Babu not to buy from a particular shop, but Babu did. Chandil SDPO Shiv Prakash Kumar said the argument escalated and Golden opened fire.Noor collapsed, causing panic, and was taken to MGM Hospital.Kapali outpost in charge Avinash Kumar said Golden fled; raids are on. Both have criminal records, police added.
