Ranchi: Special camps have been planned at polling stations in urban areas on July 18 and 20 for enumeration under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.Chief electoral officer (CEO) K Ravi Kumar on Friday said booth level officers (BLOs) have already distributed enumeration forms to nearly 97% of voters across the state. He urged all eligible voters to submit their duly filled and signed forms at the earliest to ensure timely completion of the digitisation process and other revision-related activities. He said, “Only a small section of voters remains uncovered, including those who may fall under the ASDD category, are residing away from their polling station areas, or have not yet received the forms for various reasons. We appeal to such voters to contact their respective BLOs and submit the forms without delay.”Kumar said that timely submission would enable BLOs to help voters rectify any errors in their forms and assist in finalising the ASDD list. The final meeting between BLOs and BLA-2 will be held at all polling stations on July 22.Voters who have not yet received the enumeration form can complete the process online through the voter service portal (voters.eci.gov.in) or the ECINET app, Election Commission said.
