Hazaribag: Chatra police on Friday raided a restaurant near the New Circuit House building in Chatra after receiving confidential information about alleged immoral activities, detaining 10 people, including five women, four men and the restaurant owner’s son.The raid was conducted on the directions of SP Animesh Naithanuly and led by SDPO Sunny Vardhan. The detainees were taken to Sadar police station for questioning.Police said the information was verified before a team searched the premises and took those present into custody. Investigators are questioning the detainees to determine the nature of activities at the restaurant and whether others were involved. Further action will depend on evidence gathered.Vardhan confirmed the detentions and warned of strict action against hotel and restaurant operators involved in prostitution or immoral activities.
