Hazaribag: Chatra SP Animesh Nathany has suspended Women’s police station officer in-charge Firdous Naz and her husband, sub-inspector Tipu Ansari, posted in Sadar police station and initiated a departmental inquiry over allegations of employing a minor girl as domestic help and assaulting her. The action was taken based on a complaint by the child welfare committee (CWC) and a report submitted by SDPO Sunny Vardhan.On Sunday, a CWC team raided their official residence and rescued the 14-year-old girl with injury marks on her face. The action followed after her medical examination and the recording of her statement before magistrates.
