JSSC-CGL 2024 paper leak case: CID arrests two more, total arrests reach 22

Ranchi: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday announced the arrest of two people in connection with the alleged question paper leak in the 2024 Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) examination.In a statement, the CID identified the accused as Somansh Prakash, a resident of Rohtas district, and Rahul Kumar of Vaishali district in Bihar.The investigating agency said Somansh was associated with the agency that conducted the examination, while Rahul was his close associate.The CID had earlier arrested Sushma Kumari, wife of key accused Abhay Tiwari, and his brother Akshay Kumar Tiwari in connection with the case on Aug 18.With the latest arrests, the cumulative number of arrests in cases related to the 14th Jharkhand Public Service Commission examination and the JSSC-CGL examination has reached 22, the CID said.
