Dumka: Two men were arrested on charges of eve-teasing and opening fire during a Karma Puja celebration at Uttar Karmatola village under the Mirzachowki police station limits in Sahibganj district on Tuesday night, police said on Thursday.The arrested accused were identified as Karan Rikhiyasan of Jyotimor under the Jirwabari police station limits and Ramkumar Rai alias Rama of Chunachak under the Mahagama police station in Godda district.Monika Devi on Wednesday lodged a police complaint, accusing a group of youths of abusing and harassing women participating in the celebrations. The accused also allegedly assaulted people and damaged DJ equipment, she added.SDPO Sushil Kumar Singh said, “Karan had pulled out a country-made pistol from his shoe and fired in the air before fleeing.”
