Ranchi: Orchid Medical Centre, a city-based private healthcare facility, has received approval from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for two Diplomate of National Board (DNB) seats in general surgery.The hospital said the approval will allow it to launch a DNB general surgery programme from the current academic session. The course is aimed at providing doctors advanced clinical training, exposure to modern surgical techniques and hands-on surgical experience.Dr S C Jain, chairperson of the facility, said admissions to the programme will be conducted through NEET-PG from the current academic session.
