Court grants bail to ink attacker

Ranchi: A local court on Tuesday granted bail to Amarnath Pandey, accused of throwing ink on All India Students’ Association (AISA) national president Neha Bora on Aug 7. The accused was granted bail on the condition that he would not repeat his act and also stay away from Bora in future. Bora was leading a march in support of students protesting against recruitment exam irregularities. After throwing ink, he also shouted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and was later arrested.
