NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has given a no-objection certificate (NOC) for a peaceful protest by the ‘Reservation Hatao Andolan’ at Ramlila Ground on Friday, with a maximum of 500 people allowed to attend.According to Delhi Police’s post on X, the protest will be allowed till 4pm, according to the NOC issued by the office of the deputy commissioner of police, Central district.The police said it had no objection to the protest from a law-and-order perspective, subject to stakeholders following Delhi Police guidelines.The NOC states that “no procession or stay is allowed” during the protest. It also says the organisers will have to comply with instructions and guidelines issued by police authorities from time to time.The NOC can be revoked at any stage if the conditions are not followed.
