NEW DELHI: Bomb threats were reported at three branches of Army Public School on Monday morning, triggering a response from emergency services and law enforcement agencies.The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) had received distress calls from all three campuses located in and around Central Delhi’s Chanakya Puri area. The first call came in from the Delhi Cantonment branch at 8.05 am, followed by another from the Dhaula Kuan branch at 8.59 am, and a third from the Shankar Vihar branch at 9.05 am.Acting promptly, Delhi Police and DFS initiated a comprehensive emergency protocol, treating the threats with utmost seriousness. Bomb Disposal Teams (BDTs) and dog squads were deployed to each campus, where they began detailed and systematic searches of school buildings, including classrooms, corridors, administrative offices and surrounding premises.Simultaneously, school authorities, in coordination with the police, carried out a precautionary evacuation to safeguard students and staff. Search operations are underway.
