Ranchi: The Young Lawyers Association of the Jharkhand High Court has filed a writ petition challenging the Jharkhand Law Officers (Engagement) Rules 2026 framed by the state govt. The petition, apart from challenging the Rules, has also questioned its veracity with regard to removal of associate counsels working for the govt without any specific reason. The case is expected to be heard on Aug 18.
