Patna: IIT-Patna on Saturday inked an MoU with Expedien eSolutions, a global IT solutions provider, for a period of five years to carry out joint research, and develop and commercialise next-generation India-made technology products and platforms.The MoU was signed by IIT-P director T N Singh, and Expedien eSolutions managing director Ashish Dwivedi, in presence of senior academics and officials from both the organisations.Singh said the collaboration was made possible through the efforts of Satendra Kumar and Asif Ekbal of IIT-Patna, who helped conceptualise the partnership based on successful past collaborations, mutual trust, and strong institutional synergy. He further pointed out that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing innovation and contributing to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047.Dwivedi said the collaboration aimed to transform cutting-edge research into practical technology solutions, adding that India has the capability to build its own technological future. The partnership will focus on emerging technologies such as AI, enterprise platforms, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and networking and communication solutions, combining IIT-Patna’s research excellence with Expedien’s industry expertise, he added.
