NEW DELHI: The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall across several parts of the states in the coming days. Delhi is likely to remain partly cloudy over the next few days, while parts of Tamil Nadu may receive moderate rain. Several northern states are also expected to see rainfall during the coming days, with some areas likely to receive heavy rain until September 13.
Delhi weather
Delhi is likely to witness partly cloudy skies on September 9 and 10, while another spell of light rain may occur from September 11. Humidity is expected to remain relatively high during the period. The weather department has not issued any warning for Delhi for the coming days.
Tamil Nadu weather
Moderate rain is likely in Western Ghats districts from late September 9, while temperatures may rise in interior areas. Squally winds of up to 55 kmph are expected over the Gulf of Mannar, adjoining southern coastal areas and the Comorin Sea. A warning has been issued for fishermen.
Punjab and Haryana weather
IMD forecast in Punjab and Haryana as Heavy rainfall is likely until September 13.
Uttar Pradesh weather
IMD forecast heavy rainfall is forecast in western Uttar Pradesh until September 13. The state is also likely to receive rain between September 9 and 13.
Rajasthan weather
IMD forecast rainfall is likely in Rajasthan on September 12 and 13.
Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh weather
Monsoon activity is likely to continue in Uttarakhand over the coming days.Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh may receive rain between September 9 and 13.
Himachal Pradesh weather
Himachal Pradesh has recorded a nine per cent monsoon rainfall deficit so far. The IMD expects largely weak monsoon activity over the next five to seven days, with no heavy-rain alert.Some revival is possible after September 11-12, mainly over lower hills, plains and mid-hill areas. No significant heavy-rain event is expected during the next seven days.

The southwest monsoon remains active over several parts of the states, with rainfall expected across different regions over the coming days. The latest forecast indicates continued rain activity in parts of north India, while conditions in Tamil Nadu are expected to remain varied.
