Jadavpur University will hold its executive council meeting virtually on Friday to select nominees for appointing a new registrar and finance officer. The VC had sought the higher education minister and chancellor’s advice on holding the meeting. ABRSM called it “illegal”, while JUTA members said the state govt’s approval proves otherwise.
