Ranchi: Experts said the biology section of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-UG (NEET-UG) comprising 45 questions each on botany and zoology was easy but lengthy, while around 10 questions of physics were of moderate complexity.Students appearing for the medical entrance test held on Sunday had to answer 180 questions on physics, chemistry, botany and zoology (biology), each carrying four marks, making it a total of 720 marks.Head of a coaching institute, Pankaj Singh, stated, “Almost an equal number of questions were asked from the syllabi of classes XI and XII in biology. In physics, 19 questions were from Class XI and 26 from Class XII. In chemistry, 28 questions were from Class XI and 17 from Class XII.”Students and teachers said the overall pattern remained balanced, though time management was crucial because biology required sustained reading and careful attention. They said the physics questions featured a mix of direct and moderately complex problems, while chemistry was largely manageable for well-prepared candidates.
