Patna: The opposition is rattled by the pace of development under a “triple-engine” govt in Bihar, BJP spokesperson Prem Ranjan Patel said on Thursday. He said earlier it was a double-engine govt, but now the synergy of CM Samrat Choudhary’s young and energetic leadership, former CM Nitish Kumar’s administrative experience, and the Centre’s full cooperation under PM Narendra Modi will propel Bihar’s development to new heights through a continuous flow of schemes and financial resources. The state govt will not limit itself merely to formulating schemes but will also drive progress forward with an unwavering commitment to implementing every scheme on the ground, Patel said. He said the govt’s priority is to translate the trust with which the people of Bihar supported it in the recent elections into tangible, robust results.“It is the govt’s firm resolve that, in the near future, Bihar will emerge as a model of development, good governance, and prosperity,” he said.HAM(S) chief slams Tejashwi: Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) national president and former minister Santosh Kumar Suman reacted sharply to recent statements made by leader of the opposition in the Bihar legislative assembly, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, on the law and order issue in the state. Suman asserted the fear of CM Samrat Choudhary is now clearly palpable in Tejashwi and the entire opposition Grand Alliance. “This is precisely why they are constantly engaging in baseless rhetoric in an attempt to mislead the public. However, the reality is that the ‘Crown Prince of Jungle Raj’ will face political oblivion in the face of the NDA’s ‘Emperor’,” Suman said. The former minister said it is utterly ludicrous those under whose regime Bihar became synonymous with ‘jungle raj’ are today questioning the state of law and order. During the era of ‘Lalu-Rabri Devi’, kidnappings, murders, robberies and anarchy were at their peak. Conversely, under the NDA govt, the rule of law has been firmly established and strict action is being taken against criminals, he said.Suman said under the leadership of CM Samrat Choudhary, Bihar is setting new benchmarks in development, good governance and security. “Due to the govt’s zero-tolerance policy, an atmosphere of fear prevails among criminals, and the general public feels safer than ever before,” he said.
