Ranchi: The district administration is gearing up for the re-examination of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, which will be held in 21 centres across the state capital on June 21. On Thursday, prohibitory orders were issued for a 200-metre-radius of the centres.“The order will be in effect from 12 pm to 8 pm,” Ranchi sub-divisional officer Kumar Rajat said. The order was issued to prevent unauthorised assembly of anti-social elements near the centres. Gathering of five or more people, use of loudspeakers, movement with arms and ammunitions and traditional weapons and organization of public meetings would be barred on the day of examination.Meanwhile, the national testing agency (NTA), which is conducting the examination, will hold an online meeting on Friday with the district officials across the country on ways to ensure free and fair examination.When contacted, Ranchi deputy commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri said, “All the instructions given by NTA for the conduct of the examination would be strictly followed. The district administration would also deploy magistrates with police force at the examination centres.”Meanwhile coaching institution are conducting the refresher course for the NEET aspirants in view of the examination. Head of a leading coaching institution Pankaj Singh said, “Students should revise the topics which are weak in. They should also focus on time management during NEET if the questions are lengthy.”
