Ranchi: Three children who went missing from Kadru basti here on Sunday were traced by police from Barauni in Bihar within 24 hours. Police said the children are aged between 10 and 12 years.SP (city) Paras Rana said that the children were rescued from the Muzaffarpur-Bhagalpur Jansewa Express. He added that police formed eight teams to analyse CCTV footage with the intent to track them.He stated that during questioning, the children said that they left home on their own in order to visit different places. He appealed to parents to keep a watch over their activities and movement.Earlier, the father of the 12-year-old informed police that all three children went missing while playing in Kadru at 5 pm. Police launched a search operation soon after receiving the complaint and found they went to Ranchi railway station. They were playing there for around two hours, often using the escalators to go up and down the footbridge, before stepping onto a train.RPF also posted messages and photos of the children across its units in order to trace them.
