NEW DELHI: A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Delhi’s Nai Basti area on Tuesday night, with the incident reported from Gali No. 16 under Anand Parbat police station, officials said.Police said the attackers fled the spot after stabbing the teenager. A police team was deployed in the area, while the boy’s body was sent for post-mortem examination on Wednesday.The victim’s family has alleged that he was attacked multiple times and has urged police to take strict action against those responsible.The boy’s brother, Mayank Dhingra, claimed that the teenager was stabbed 16 times and said the family had provided police with the names of those allegedly involved.“Around 8:30 pm, my brother was killed; he was stabbed 16 times… I have given the names of the boys involved to the police. Yet, no action has been taken,” Dhingra alleged.He further claimed that he had received a threatening call after the incident. “They were hurling abuses; we have a recording of it. We sent that to the police officer as well,” he said.Dhingra said his brother had no known enmity with anyone and appealed for justice.Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing. Further investigation is underway.
