Chennai: Nasdaq Ventures, the venture investment arm of Nasdaq, has picked up a minority stake in Transient.AI, which runs R&D operations in Coimbatore, for an undisclosed amount as part of the company’s Series A funding round. Nasdaq Ventures has joined lead investor NEXT Investors in the round.Transient.AI provides a secure operating environment for AI agents used in capital markets. Its platform connects legacy financial infrastructure with governed AI systems and is designed to ensure that AI agents operate only within authorised parameters.The company said the investment will support its expansion across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, including key financial centres such as London, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Transient, headquartered in New York, has offices in Miami, Singapore and India.
