Hazaribag: A co-driver of a mini truck was seriously injured after it suffered brake failure and rammed into a truck ahead it near a petrol pump at Chordaha under Chauparan police station limits early on Thursday.The mini truck was carrying pipes from Jharkhand to Uttar Pradesh. The injured was identified as Lakhan Kumar (30), a resident of Uttar Pradesh. He got trapped inside the damaged cabin, while the driver sustained minor injuries. Chordaha picket police later rescued Lakhan and shifted him to a local community health centre. Chauparan police station OC Pankaj Kumar said traffic movement was restored soon after the incident.
