Jamshedpur: Two workers died after allegedly falling from a height at a private cast iron factory in Adityapur industrial area of Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Saturday, police said. The deceased were identified as Ram Murmu and Lakhinder Hansda, both in their 30s.“The workers were fixing a damaged asbestos sheet but lost control and fell,” said RIT police station officer in-charge, Sanjiv Kumar, adding that their harness equipment failed.They were being rushed to a nearby private hospital but succumbed to their injuries on the way.Two other workers were critically injured after the deceased fell on the shop floor. Injured Ranjit Jena and Thakur Besra are under treatment.
