Hazaribag: The mutilated and decomposed body of an unidentified woman, between 30 and 35 years, was recovered from a forest near Sanjha Cut in Danuwa Valley on the GT Road on Wednesday.Officer in-charge of the Chauparan police station Pankaj Kumar said, “Maggots were found on the body, which is suspected to be around seven to eight days’ old. A handkerchief, along with a noose made from her sari, was found around the deceased woman’s neck. Efforts are under way to establish the identity of the woman. The body was sent for post-mortem. Thereafter, it will be kept at the Shaikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital mortuary for 72 hours.”
