Jamshedpur: Security forces on Wednesday recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from forest areas under MGM and Chakulia police station limits in East Singhbhum district. The joint operation involved East Singhbhum police, CoBRA personnel, Kolkata Police STF, and Jharkhand Jaguar personnel. The seized items included an INSAS rifle, an AKM rifle, five magazines, a weapon sling, and 232 rounds of ammunition. SSP Ehtesham Waquarib said, “Intensified surveillance and combing operations will continue in the region to strengthen security and curb suspicious activities. Legal procedures and an investigation are under way in the case.”
