Court allows bail to ink attacker

Ranchi: A local court in Ranchi on Tuesday granted bail to Amarnath Pandey, accused of throwing ink on All India Student’s Association (AISA) national president Neha Bora last Friday. The accused was granted bail on condition that he would not repeat his act and also stay away from Bora in the future. Notably, Bora was leading a march in support of protesting students in Ranchi against irregularities. After throwing ink, the accused shouted ‘Jai Shree Ram’ and was later arrested from the spot.
