Buxar: The district administration has started acting on suggestions received through ‘Buxar Beats’– a youth engagement initiative– launched by DM Sahila, and plans to institutionalise the platform to involve young people in shaping the district’s development agenda.A recent meeting chaired by district magistrate Sahila discussed ideas and concerns raised by participants, and assessed their feasibility. Officials said the initiative, launched to harness the creativity and energy of youths for Buxar’s development, would be developed into a regular platform rather than a one-time event.Future interactions will focus on issues such as cleanliness, tourism, sports, education, employment, innovation and social development. Feasible suggestions will be forwarded to the relevant departments for action. The DM urged young people, including girls, to actively participate in the district’s development and contribute ideas for promoting Buxar’s heritage and tourism potential. She said the administration and youths would work together to transform ideas into initiatives and tangible results.
