Ranchi: Health minister Irfan Ansari on Wednesday approved an extension of the contracts of five teaching and medical staff at Govt Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Paraspani, in Godda district, to ensure continuity of academic and healthcare services.The officials’ contracts were due to expire on Aug 29. The college administration had sought an extension from the health department to prevent disruption to teaching, administrative and clinical work.“Students are our priority, and their studies should not be disrupted. I will soon visit the Paraspani campus to review its academic, administrative and healthcare arrangements,” the minister said.
