Patna: The state govt has issued a fresh 15-day ultimatum to former CM Rabri Devi and family members to vacate the official residence at 10 Circular Road. The building construction department has also served notices to several former ministers, including Rabri Devi, directing them to vacate their government accommodations.The department has made it clear that ministers who are no longer in office must vacate govt housing allotted under the general pool residential accommodation within 15 days.According to sources, action will be taken in accordance with existing regulations. Officials stated that it is mandatory to vacate government accommodation within a stipulated time-frame after a minister’s term ends. Failure to comply will result in the matter being referred to the competent authority, which may impose fines or take other administrative measures as per rules.Officials added that the move aims to ensure better management of govt housing and timely allotment to current office-bearers. The department indicated that such strict enforcement will continue in the future to ensure compliance with norms.
