New Delhi: Police took cognisance after a video showing a man allegedly holding a liquor bottle inside a Delhi Police PCR vehicle surfaced on social media. A Delhi Police head constable was suspended, while a DTC driver was identified and attached to the district lines.The 10-second video, recorded from behind the vehicle, shows a man holding what appears to be a liquor bottle inside the PCR vehicle. The vehicle, bearing a Delhi registration number and a Delhi Police sticker, was seen with its red and blue emergency lights flashing.Responding to the video, the official handle of DCP PCR said an inquiry had already been conducted and the staff involved, including a Delhi Police head constable and a DTC driver, had been identified.“The head constable has been placed under suspension, while the DTC driver has been attached to the Lines. Further departmental action for misconduct is being initiated by DTC,” the senior police officer added.
