Police said no evidence of foul play was found during a preliminary probe
Ranchi: Body of an 80-year-old man was recovered from Dhurwa dam on Sunday, police said. Nagri police station officer in-charge Praveen Kumar said Yogendra Prasad had left his Hatia residence on Saturday evening and did not return.“Prima facie it looks like a suicide, and family members informed police that the deceased was depressed for the last few days. The body had no injury marks to suspect any foul play,” Kumar said.Police said no evidence of foul play was found during a preliminary probe and further procedures were initiated after the body was identified by relatives.
