Chennai: More 20 children undergoing treatment for neurodevelopment disorder and defects at birth, including congenital heart issues, received gifts of their choice at an event on Saturday.Organised by the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Institute of Social Pediatrics, Govt Stanley Medical College Hospital, in collaboration with not-for-profit Make-a-Wish-Foundation, the event aimed to bring hope and happiness to children undergoing early intervention therapy for neurodevelopmental disorders.The kids received bicycles, swings, art and craft sets, toys and remote cars. Children with cerebral palsy received high chairs. Dr A Aravind, presided over the function. Director, Institute of Social Pediatrics, Dr. J Ganesh organised the event.
