Chennai: R Sudhakar, IPS, has been posted as Deputy Director General (Southern Region) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Chennai, on a regular basis. An office order issued by the NCB on Thursday said the posting follows the transfer of Vikram M Khalate, IPS, as DDG (North Eastern Region), Guwahati. Sudhakar, who was serving as DDG (NER), has been directed to be relieved immediately to assume charge of his new assignment. The NCB has also sought a compliance report along with charge handing-over and taking-over certificates. The order was issued with the approval of the Director General, NCB.
