Chatra: Gidhaur police arrested three drug peddlers with 25.67 grams of suspected brown sugar worth Rs 5 lakh and sent them to judicial custody.An expensive mobile phone and a motorcycle were seized. Acting on SP Animesh Naithany’s tip-off, a team, led by Simaria SDPO Nagargoje Shubham Bhausaheb, checked vehicles near Piratand on Peksa-Gidhaur road towards Chauparan.The accused are Shubham Kumar (19), Roshan Kumar (22), both from Tajpur, Hazaribag, and Sumit Kumar (20), from Gaya, Bihar. An NDPS case was lodged.
