Vasai: A 22-year-old labourer died after falling from the 15th floor of an under-construction 22-storey building while carrying out painting work in the Babola area of Vasai West on Sunday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Mursalim Momin.The incident took place at the ‘Aryana’ building located behind Western Hotel in Babola. According to the police, Momin was working on the 15th floor at around noon. He reportedly fell from the building while getting down to relieve himself.He sustained severe injuries to his head, face, chin and legs and was rendered unconscious at the spot. He was immediately rushed to Sir D.M. Petit Hospital for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
