Patna: The Bihar unit of Congress on Friday began a two-day training camp for its newly appointed block presidents from 20 districts at Kutumba in Aurangabad district, focusing on Gandhian principles of agitation and mass mobilisation.AICC Bihar in charge Krishna Allavaru and state Congress president Rajesh Ram delivered keynote address on the inaugural day. Ranjit Mishra, the camp’s convener, spoke about Gandhian methods of agitation and popular movements, including the principles of truth and non-violence.Mishra said block presidents across the state had been appointed under the centrally coordinated ‘Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan’. He said the party was training its newly appointed organisational functionaries in Gandhian principles and methods, with training programmes being held across the state.The Kutumba camp was the fifth in the series. Block presidents who could not attend the earlier training programmes also participated in the camp.
