Patna: The NDA constituents backed Dharmendra Pradhan who resigned on Saturday over the alleged NEET paper leak. CM Samrat Choudhary and BJP national president Nitin Nabin besides other NDA functionaries called it a reflection of integrity and sacrifice for public services.CM Samrat said as the Union education minister, Pradhan gave a new direction, a fresh perspective, and renewed momentum to India’s education system. “His visionary leadership — including the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) — laid a strong foundation for the bright future of millions of students,” he stated, adding that his decision to step down, placing the national interest above all else, serves as an inspiring example of ethics, accountability, and selfless service in public life.

The party stands firmly with Pradhan in this decision. I extend my best wishes for his future endeavours,” Nitin posted on X.JD(U) national working president Sanjay Kumar Jha said public life often demands difficult decisions, and it is in such moments that character comes to the fore. “Over the years, I have known Dharmendra Pradhan as a person of conviction, composure and quiet determination. His contribution to public life has been significant, and I am confident he will continue to serve the nation with the same commitment in the years ahead,” he stated.Reacting over Pradhan’s resignation, RLM functionary and minister Deepak Prakash said the govt has always been sensitive to the concerns of students and youth. “Every person entrusted with the responsibility of being a minister discharges their duties with full seriousness. Wherever issues have arisen, efforts are being made to resolve them and establish a better system for examinations and education,” he said.
