Garhwa: A 35-year-old man identified as Deepak Kujur was shot dead near Lalmatiya Mor in Salo forest under Bargarh police station limits around 10.30 am on Sunday.Kujur, a Simdega native living at his in-laws’ home in Barwa village under Ramkanda police station, was riding to Bargarh when two motorcycle-borne criminals intercepted him and fired.Following the incident, Bargarh officer-in charge Deepak Kumar Maurya rushed to the site along with his police team. A motorcycle, three live cartridges and two unused cartridges were recovered.Kujur was taken to Bhandaria hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. DSP Rohit Ranjan Singh said the motive is unclear; investigation and raids to arrest the killers are on.
